About this product
Curated Beaumont Des Crayeres with provenance from Burgdy.
Pale golden color with bright tints and extensive threads of fine bubbles. Fresh and generous nose offering up notes of candied citrus and dried fruit, set off by apple and peach jelly. Rich and elegant palate dominated by aromas of lovely jammy fruit, toasted brioche and honey. The finish is tasty, elegant and toasty.
Food pairing: A good marriage of food and wine ideally provides more pleasure than enjoying either one separately. As each of us have different sensitivities to various flavours and preferences, the definition of 'perfect pairing' varies, and this makes up the fun part of food and wine pairing.

Later in the evening when the champagne was well aired and not many bubbles prevailed, it became more generous, fruity and the bitterness felt more rounded and integrated. Accompanied with sea crayfish and french cheeses. Solid pour.

Cellar candidate
Opened the Champagne Beaumont des Crayeres Fleur de Prestige Millesime Brut 2012 Champagne after a short decant. Dense bubbles, full-bodied taste and acidic finish. 100% Pinot Noir, nose of overripe apple dominately, with hints of pear, toast and apricot.
