About this product
Curated Veuve Clicquot with provenance from Burgdy.
Yellow Label is the signature of Veuve Clicquot’s quality and style, recreated every year thanks to their priceless collection of reserve wines. Its brilliant yellow label reflects the champagne’s bright personality and impeccable winemaking credentials. The wine is a blend of 30-45% reserve wines with grapes from as many as 50 to 60 different crus. The Pinot Noir predominance (50-55%) provides the structure that is so typically Veuve Clicquot, while Chardonnay (28-33%) adds the elegance and finesse essential in a perfectly balanced wine, and a touch of Meunier (15-20%) rounds out the blend. The long aging in Crayères (3 years minimum for Yellow Label) gives silkiness to the Champagne. Toasty and generous with lemon freshness, this also has quite some dried-pear and peach aromas from mature elements of the blend, plus a touch of spice at the long, structured finish.
Food pairing: A good marriage of food and wine ideally provides more pleasure than enjoying either one separately. As each of us have different sensitivities to various flavours and preferences, the definition of 'perfect pairing' varies, and this makes up the fun part of food and wine pairing.

Balanced and layered
Opened the Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label N.V. Champagne after a short decant. We noticed But I'd happily drink this any day of the week and it's a nice Champagne to kick off an evening and just enjoy. This has some nice lemon, citrus, and white peach notes, not as heavy on the brioche or toast.

N.V. Champagne — worth the hype
Opened the Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label N.V. Champagne after a short decant. Nice balance, not too dry. Notes of vanilla and tart apple.
