2013 Champagne — worth the hype
Not worth buying again at that price point. Hard to fault.
1) Medium-bodied with a fruity attack, citrus including zest, some stone fruit, green apple mid-mid-palate, soft mousse, solid acid, and rather fruity but even aftertaste. 2) Honestly, Elegant rather than a heavyweight, drinks well now with some developed notes, but could develop further, 90-91 p.
Special occasion wine
Order shipped fast — label and fill level looked right. Still vibrant and fresh, rounder in the mouth, decent length. More delicate and richer than the Duval Leroys tasted before.
