About this product
Curated Bouchard Père & Fils with provenance from Burgdy.
Founded in 1731 in Beaune by Michel Bouchard, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy and one of the largest vineyard owners in the Cote D’or. The first vineyards were purchased in Volnay “Les Caillerets” in 1775, and so began a long history of gathering fine ‘terroirs’. A delicious and balanced red wine is overflowing with red fruit on the nose. On the palate, the wine is pleasantly delicate. Perfect to accompany with poultry, white meat and grilled meat. It is matured for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels with 20 to 30 percent new oak and the rest in stainless steel vats.
