Curated Château Lascombes with provenance from Burgdy.
Intense crushed red berries, raspberry, graphite and burning leather. Bittersweet and spicy body with long beaming finale, reminding us of and rivaling some Pomerol from vintage 2017 e.g. Clinet 17 (minus its oak), La gravette de Certan 17 and Clos du Clocher 17.

Order shipped fast — label and fill level looked right. Big body, reticent on the nose, full of black fruit and plenty of tannin at this stage.
Honestly, Ok mid week wine, a little bit of a disappointment.
