About this product
Curated Domaine de la Vougeraie with provenance from Burgdy.
A distinctly earthy and sauvage-inflected nose speaks primarily of dark berries. BH Crushed leaves/stems, forest floor and a hint of orange peel, quite earthy and very mildly floral. On the palate, it’s delicate with fine, slightly silky tannins and quite acidic! Not getting much of floral notes or fruit, quite vegetal.

Lovely pour
Honestly — I found I can only imagine what this will become.
Lovely pour
Honestly, No doubt it's too young - the oak isn't integrated and the richness hasn't yet developed to cover the more acidic flavours - but I really can't tell if this will marry into a gorgeous mature Burgundy or remain disjointed as it ages. Fresh lime, struck match, cakey (cream and brioche), some riper fruits (orange and starfruit), and slightly oxidative (almond and caramel). Would buy again.
