About this product
Curated Olivier Bernstein with provenance from Burgdy.
It was a wonderful surprise. It was structured with balanced tannin and good acidity. Hints of blossom, dried flowers, red cherry, forest floor, and meat. Drinkable now but also suitable for aging. 50/50 fruit and spices: red berries like raspberry and red currant, cranberry, cherry. Potpourri, clove, vanilla, nutmeg. Developing, it will offer abundant forest floor, mushroom aromas with age.

Five stars from us
Finally opened the bottle I bought here. My 2nd time trying the Les Champeaux and quite consistent notes. Bottle decant 2 hours.
Would buy again
Bottle showed up well packed and cold. Excellent concentration, packed ripe black fruit, silky and precise, medium lift, earthy mineral and a medium to long ripe black fruit driven end with sap and earth at the end. Clearly expression the 15 ripe fruit and Gevrey earthiness.
2015 Red — worth the hype
excellent now, better 2025-.

Order shipped fast — label and fill level looked right. Still has some time to resolve the last 5% of tannins to get to its’ full and final wispy state. Champeaux the unloved is lovely.
