About this product
Curated Amiot-Servelle with provenance from Burgdy.
The final wine in this lineup reflects the warm vintage of 2019. ‘Les Amoureuses’ as a premier cru shows great potential. This climat has no less than 13 owners and Amiot-Servelle's own less than 0,45ha. The palate is rich within the context of pinot noir - candied sweets - marzipan even as the only one in the line-up - ripe cherry & strawberry - softened tannins and ample acidity to stay vivant. The last one in this tasting, and a grand one… Again a warmer vintage, generating a fuller wine with hints of marzipan, gravy, strawberries and roses. Lovely. Med acidity and tannic, à point. Pure, clean, precise. Slight bitter tone, layered and length. Delicious. Top wine. 17/18 pts

Still thinking about it
Bottle showed up well packed and cold. Le meilleur jamais fait ici.
Opened the Amiot-Servelle Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru 'Les Amoureuses' 2019 Red after a short decant. So much red cherry and berry everywhere that seems full to start, but gets so fresh and texturally brilliant from the middle forward. While not particularly dense (mostly younger vines here), but long and elegant.
Finally opened the bottle I bought here. Spicy and complex fruit with very pleasant depth.
