About this product
Curated Amiot-Servelle with provenance from Burgdy.
The joy of discovery. My first experience with this renowned producer. Aromas of dark forest berries, black cherry, candied plums, earth mimicked on the palate. Dense and brooding Pinot fruit that evidenced its youth. Bold, rich tannins that need more bottle age to flesh out. With its strong bone structure, it will do that and will deserve a 4.5 star rating.

Still thinking about it
Bottle showed up well packed and cold. Bright red berry, fun and well balanced. Easy for youthful enjoyment.

Honestly — Solid balance and tail.

I found Blood red, orange rim; meaty, grumpy, loosens up with air, herb tinged ; palate much more attractive, silky tannins, diminished acidity, mid-weight, some soft summer red fruit; compact end.
