About this product
Curated Domaine Leflaive with provenance from Burgdy.
Mineral-driven Batard! Tasted blind - Generous bouquet of yellow fruits and fine lees substance. Effortless minerality of Puligny Montrachet, very eloquent. Dent de Chien crossed my mind (a tiny Chassagne 1er Cru located next to Montrachet). Eventually the wine gained more weight and glycerol which suggested Batard Montrachet, a muscular Grand Cru terroir but made in refined way, good winemaking. Shy initially but in hindsight it needed decanting and more time in the glass.
