This is a point of red and cool blue fruit , hint of spice/bramble, good complexity for the level, fresh acidity and medium+ finish.

Balanced and layered
Bottle showed up well packed and cold. Expected a little more 87p. Good rouge, but still disappointed since it is Groffier.

A serious 2017 Red
Opened the Robert Groffier Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2017 Red after a short decant. Medium body, good lift, it will require some more time to get that extra complexity. Crimson robe, aroma initially closed, but that opened up on the second day with red and black fruit, whiff of violet.
