Five stars from us
Well made in my style.
de Blancs — worth the hype
1) Little mousse to speak of unless poured aggressively, and then the bubbles were large. 2) Pale copper color.
Would buy again
Opened the Salon Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs after a short decant. A 1959 Horizontal Across Champagne, Burgundy and Bordeaux (Le Cinq Restaurant, George Cinq Four Seasons, Paris): Still a few tiny bubbles left. Great spine of acid and caramelized flavors.
Opened the Salon Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs after a short decant. Still quite intact and enjoyable, but losing some vitality.
