Provenance paperwork matched what I expected. Still too young.
Balanced and layered
I felt this actually needed a bit more time than the 13, but both should age really well.
1) The aromas are explosive showing incredible notes of Meyer lemons, slightly ripe orchard fruits, white flowers, slightly toasted almonds, pear and hints of some reductiveness (gun smoke sort of thing). 2) On the taste the wine is especially generous and with good depth however with the signature mineral structure and freshness.
Great with dinner
On a weeknight — I found 2012 Medium+ fragrance intensity with notes of white flora, peach, toast, brioche.
